Hot on the heels of marriage equality’s first major legislative victory 2014, (Go Oklahoma!), the Chronicle of Philanthropy chose two very special guests for the January installment of their monthly podcast, Fundraising Fundamentals.
The interview features Michael Crawford, director of online programs at Freedom to Marry in conversation with our very own point on the project, Jessalyn Kiesa. From the Supreme Court striking down DOMA, to the addition of nine more Freedom to Marry states, 2013 was an exceptional year for marriage equality, and we are incredibly proud of our long-term partnership.
Michael and Jessalyn recommend Four Resolutions every nonprofit should make in 2014 to improve digital fundraising: 1) set a goal, 2) engage new audiences on social, (3) always be testing, and 4) apply for a google grant adwords campaign (now!), don’t leave nice free money on the table.
Their conversation is only 12 minutes long, but there’s a lot of know-how in there.
Enjoy.
