Eric leads Blue State’s global paid media practice, where he oversees advertising and growth strategy for nonprofits, campaigns, and political and advocacy groups. With more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of political and advocacy strategy, advertising, and fundraising, he has launched first-of-their-kind marketing campaigns, built teams to run complex programs in high-stakes environments, and raised hundreds of millions of dollars for campaigns, progressive causes, and charities.

Before Blue State, Eric served as Managing Director at eStreet Group, overseeing digital fundraising and advertising work, and built the first fully in-house advertising operation on a presidential campaign for Senator Elizabeth Warren. He has led advertising and digital strategy programs for clients including the National Women’s Law Center,t he Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. He also oversaw corporate social responsibility and public affairs campaigns for clients including McDonald’s, Covered California, and the CDC.

Eric lives in Washington, D.C. and holds a B.A. in History and American Culture Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.

He has been to both the northernmost and southernmost cities in the world.
